Job Description

I. Overview of Position:

Manages the planning and designing of methods to improve or enhance existing programs of business unit. Oversees the analysis and review of budgets, schedules, production requirements and headcount to determine the most cost effective and efficient methods of obtaining necessary resources. Develops and recommends revisions or enhancements to schedules, human and monetary resource allocations, and production requirements. Ensures projects are completed on time. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.

II. Description of Duties/Responsibilities:

• Review and forecast quarterly group sales objectives and personnel requirements to maintain effective operations.
• Communicate schedules with customers through group sales and administration or direct contact
• Recommend new equipment, methods, facilities to Management Team.
• Recommend/approve wage and salary adjustments of employees within business unit.
• Ensure compliance through support of safety policies and instruction of personnel in safety rules and regulations
• Meet with customers for sales purpose or to correct problems.
• Participate in decisions related to the promotion, transfer and discipline of assigned personnel.
• Works closely with other members of business unit to meet the units’ strategic objectives.

Job Requirements

Preferred Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills, etc.):
May requires a bachelor's degree or at least 5 -7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures and a broad knowledge of fabricating practices, concepts and procedures. Experience with manufacturing supervision is highly preferred. Willingness to travel as needed periodically.
